OUR MISSION
Tootsie's Legacy will host enlivening fundraising events always designed to strengthen our bodies and help our minds flourish. Our events will support local businesses and be thoughtfully inclusive. Through these events, we’ll unify and ensure that all who need it receive necessary resources and appropriate care. Fundraising will enable us to change lives; offering grants for emergencies, funding advocacy for mental health and homelessness, and passionately promoting unconditional kindness and humanitarianism throughout every step of our journey.
OUR VISION
Through our hard work and camaraderie, our organization hopes to change more than just the lives of the animals. We hope to inspire our supporters to be advocates for positive mental health habits, and nourish their community with genuine "Pay-It-Forward" acts of kindness toward animals and humans alike. Together, we will chase the opportunity to construct a unique establishment, Tootsie's Café, a business that will serve as the home-base for our mission and directly fund the rescue, rehabilitation, residency or rehoming of abandoned animals.

We will be sincere in operating transparently with open ears and open arms. We will keep our team inspired and ever growing and remain dedicated to being a powerhouse of betterment throughout our community.
ABOUT US
Tootsie's Legacy is a Stamford, Connecticut based Nonprofit Organization, anticipating official 501c3 Organization status by the end of 2025. We pride ourselves on brightening the community by hosting enlivening charity events that support local businesses, nourish our minds and bodies and are accessible to all.
As an organization, we pour our hearts into utilizing raised funds to serve our community, offering financial aid opportunities to families in crisis and serving as a ready-foster database for our community and work tirelessly to quickly place homeless animals with loving people, and advocate for their forever adoption.
Through your support, fundraising and sponsorship, Tootsie's Legacy will one day have the opportunity to open a modern day establishment with a unique business model designed to save and sustain the lives of dozens of neglected animals. The establishment will house and provide excellent care for the animals until adoption, as well as operate as a profitable Café and safe space for our family of neighbors and supporters.

Tootsie
The poster child for small but mighty, and confident in her mightiness. Tootsie was known for her obsession with giving too many kisses, luxurious naps in beams of sweltering sunlight on her mama's lap, and stealing cat food. She was a spoiled little Malshi (Maltese-Shih Tzu) with royal bloodlines, full of award winning ancestors. She never competed, but she did put her royal gene's to good use learning and performing impressive tricks to demand table food. She had unlimited sass and a knack for getting her way. She treated her humans and her treats the same; she loved them unconditionally and fiercely, protected them at all costs and followed them everywhere. Her spirit is immortalized through our efforts.
